Leadey provisions your phone numbers for you, so you can start calling without opening a separate carrier account. UK numbers run on approved regulatory bundles, which keep your calling compliant.
Before you start
UK numbers require an approved UK Business regulatory bundle on your organisation. To check, go to Settings, then Phone Lines, and look under Regulatory Bundles. If you see an approved United Kingdom Business Bundle, you can provision a number right away.
Provision a number
- Go to Settings, then Phone Lines.
- Select Provision New Number.
- Choose United Kingdom, then pick the type you need: local or mobile.
- Assign the number to a rep, or leave it unassigned for now.
- Confirm. The number appears in your list with an Active status, usually within a few minutes.
If you need a bundle first
If you do not have an approved bundle yet, select New Bundle under Regulatory Bundles, save it as a draft, upload the required business documents, and submit it for review. Once Twilio approves it, you can provision UK numbers against it.
Costs
Each number shows its monthly cost in the Phone Lines list, alongside its country, type, status, and the rep it is assigned to.
